July 3rd, Wednesday – Aloha Tower Fireworks Honolulu
The marketplace at Aloha Tower lives to continue their wonderful tradition of entertainment and fireworks and on 3rd July 2013, once again see the sky lighting up with vivid sparks of the firework design.
The ‘after work’ event starts with food booth and live music entertainment at 5pm. The celebrations are open to the public from 5pm – 9pm, that too, free.
Right after the fireworks, you get into the paid event – the Luminox and Trinidad concert. The event begins at 10pm with tickets pricing at $45.
Coming onto parking, it is very limited in and around Aloha Tower Marketplace. If you are coming in here, the Bus would be your best boon. The Red Line Trolley is also an option, but returning can be a challenge.
With US City Breaks you can view the prismatic firework from Sand Island State by driving in there, or it’s a long walk from the nearest bus stop. Before the fireworks, you can also marvel at the sunset, have a picnic and finally, watch the fireworks.
July 4th, Thursday – Ala Moana Center Fireworks near Waikiki
From 5pm to 8pm, one can witness a massive fireworks show at the Ala Maona Center in the state of Hawaii. Though the evening festivities begin at 5pm with an Outdoor Concert, the display is all set for 8:30 pm on the Parking Deck Mall at Level 2, facing the ocean.
The entertainers comprise of John Cruz, Pacific Fleet Ceremonial Band, Lehua Kalima, Ho’okena and Neasian NINE.
The Outdoor Concert and the Ala Moana Firework are both free and open to the public. Prior to the events, you could do a bit of shopping as the shopping center is giving everyone a 20% savings pass to use at the stores.
