The baggage allowance on Emirates flights depends on your destination, travel class, and airfare. Emirates baggage allowance is based on two concepts depending on the routes: Weight Concept and Piece Concept. While most of the routes operated by Emirates follow the weight concept, the flights to and from the Americas and Africa follow the piece concept.
As per the Emirates’ policy, all the cabin baggage must fit under your seat or in the overhead lockers.
|In Economy Class||7kg||55*38*20 cm|
|In Business & First Class||7 kg + 7 kg (briefcase or garment bag)||Briefcase: 45*35*20 cm;|
Handbag: 55*38*20 cm;
Garment Bag: not more than 20 cm thick when folded.
|With Infants||One Carry-cot or fully collapsible stroller|
|Boarding from India||Size may not exceed 115 cm (length+width+height)|
|Travel from Brazil||10 kg||–|
You can check in as many bags as you want on a route with the weight concept, but the weight must not increase the weight allowance for your class. Whereas, you can check-in up to 32 kgs of the bag as per the allowance in your class in the piece concept flights. The total dimensions of an individual bag should not be more than 300 cm (l+b+h) for the weight concept and 150 cm (l+b+h) for the piece concept. For more details on the allowance, you can visit the checked baggage rules of the Emirates.
