Connecting the world together as Emirates and Philippine airlines interline agreement!

In a bid to expand connectivity between the Philippines and the Middle East, the two major International Airlines— Emirates and Philippine Airlines (PAL) have signed an interline agreement wherein both carriers will connect to new points on each other’s networks via Manila and Dubai, using a single ticket and one baggage policy.

Travel options in the Philippines for Emirate Passengers

The great news is that Emirates passengers now have access to 19 Philippine domestic destinations which will be operated by Philippine Airlines that include— Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Bacolod, Cotabato, Davao, Iloilo, Kalibo, and more, two Asian regional points are also part of this route through Manila

Philippine Airlines’ global network access from Dubai

Philippine Airlines passengers have seamless access to Emirates’ global network, which connects them to 21 cities outside of Dubai, including London, Rome, Frankfurt, Barcelona, Paris, and Kuwait, as well as Jeddah and other Middle East, African, and Indian destinations.

Emirates now has 27 commercial partners, including Philippine Airlines. Its partnerships enable Emirates to meet the ever-evolving air travel needs of its customers while responding with agility to the dynamic travel industry.

Earlier the PAL used to connect in Dubai and other parts of the Middle East including Doha and Qatar. Its first operation was started on August 7, 1982, for Dubai, and ever since Fillippino Airlines has demonstrated a fine display of its cabin crew and in-flight service making it one of the largest worldwide networks. 

What amenities will passengers be provided?

  • All classes of travelers can take advantage of Emirates’ award-winning service and industry-leading products on flights to and from the Philippines. 
  • Consumers will be able to enjoy regionally-inspired dishes in addition to complimentary beverages. 
  • A system called Ice offers 5,000 channels of on-demand entertainment in 40 languages and provides on-demand entertainment in a variety of languages. There is a wide selection of movies, TV shows, music, audiobooks, games, and podcasts available to passengers.
