Zimbabwe is a beautiful country, full of nature and natural attractions. The country is a fantastic destination for diverse wildlife, bountiful culture, discrete landscapes, and a memorial of historical ruins. Harare is its capital and the largest city whereas Bulawayo is its second largest city. Zimbabwe is fastly catching up in the tourism scale. The official currency of the country is Zimbabwe Dollar (ZWL) but the United States Dollar (USD) is equally acceptable to settle the accounts.

Points of Air Connectivity:

There are three main airports in Zimbabwe to cater the international and regional flight services. These are:

  1. Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport (IATA: HRE, ICAO: FVRG), Harare. It is the largest and busiest airport in the country catering to both international and regional flights.
  1. Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo International Airport (IATA: BUQ, ICAO: FVJN), Bulawayo. It is yet another international airport located 25km outside Bulawayo city. It also caters to both regional and international flights.
  1. Victoria Falls Airport (IATA: VFA, ICAO: FVFA) is yet another airport established primarily for managing the tourist footfall at Victoria Falls. It is 18km from the town of Victoria Falls.

Currently, no airline offers a direct London to Harare flight or to any of the other two international airports from any destinations in the UK. Every flight that’s operating between the two countries either has a one-stop flight service or multiple stops.

Indirect Flight:
There are many one-stop and two-stop Flights to Harare. British Airways, Emirates, Kenya Airways, Kuwait Airways, KLM, Turkish Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, Ethiopian Airlines, Airlink, Air France, Lufthansa, and Qatar Airways all have indirect London to Harare flights. An indirect one-stop flight takes about 14 hours on average to reach its destination. However, this flight time is subject to change, owing to various circumstances for example layover time at the connecting city.

Best time to book a flight to Zimbabwe:

Peak Season( May to September): The best time to travel to Zimbabwe is between May and September. The weather is ideal for exploring the attractions and nature trails. You can also avoid the glaring humidity if you visit during this time of year.

Deals are aplenty at this time of the year.
